Surprise Wet T-shirt Contest
I went to Kroger after work for our weekly grocery shop. I brought my umbrella in the store with me because it looked like rain. I wasn’t in the store for even ten minutes before the rain started so hard that you couldn’t hear anything else in the store. I’m not sure if it was, but we all (aka me and the other cool kids at the deli counter) thought it was hail.
When I went to leave, it wasn’t raining as bad, so I popped open my umbrella and head out.
Within seconds, my umbrella got blown out. I was parked about twenty to twenty five cars back. So I just ran. With my cart in front and my blown-out umbrella behind.
Dear Mother Nature: I did not appreciate being entered into the surprise wet t-shirt whole outfit contest. I think I might have to throw out my shoes. Thanks a lot.
PS- while I may not have entered voluntarily, I totally won.
